Belvedere is snugly tucked away amid one of India’s most well-known hill resorts, Nainital. The palace belvedere, also known as the summer palace of the former Rajas of Awagarh, was erected by Raja Balwant Singh OBE of Awagarh in 1897 and serves as a reminder of the Raj Era’s bygone days.
It is picturesquely positioned amidst the natural splendour of Kumaon’s well-known hill resort of Nainital. The hotel offers a panoramic view of the well-known Naini Lake, which the “Skanda Puranas” refer to as a site for meditation.
